On the 30th of July during the press-conference in UNIAN was announced the beginning of the contest for journalists of national mass media in the best highlighting of the issues concerning further development of health care system in Ukraine. The contest was organized with the initiative of the EU Project “Support to Secondary Health Care Reform in Ukraine”, the Ministry of Health and National Medical Award.
On the 28th of October, 2009, the Jury decided to extend the timeframe of the contest: any material published or broadcast at national or regional TV or radio and on the Internet within the time frame from the 1st of January till the 30th of November, 2009, will be regarded as contesting material. Journalistic works must correspond to the listed below topics and, together with the filled out participant’s application, be sent to the address:

The prize fund of the contest is 70, 000 UAH.
