The briefing “EU-Ukraine cooperation projects in environment and public health

On 20 June 2008 the project experts Dr. Greta Ross, Vasil Ananiev, Natalia Louchsheva took part in the briefing “EU-Ukraine cooperation projects in environment and public health”.

The meeting was held in the framework of the visit of 16 journalists from European countries to Kyiv (project “European Neigbourhood Policy. Information briefings for EU journalists”)

The event was jointly organized by IPO “Internews-Ukraine’’, Delegation of European Commission to Ukraine and International Fund “Renaissance” with aim to support forming with European journalists the clear understanding of the European Neigbourhood Policy is how it being implemented in Ukraine.

Besides the project “Support to Secondary healthcare Reform” the project “Implementation of the Twinning Instrument in Ukraine” and “Environmental Collaboration for the Black Sea” presented their achievements.

The project team Leader Dr. Greta Ross informed the journalists about the project tasks and achievements and answered the questions on current status of healthcare system in Ukraine.
